Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi has announced 12th board cut off marks for JEE advanced in general, obc, sc/st category . This time CBSE 12th class result has weightage in determine admission into Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and National Institutes of Technology (NITs) and other top colleges in India.
Following are the details about CBSE Cut Off Marks for IIT JEE Advances 2013 :
- A student has to be in the top 20 percentile of CBSE board exam scorers to be eligible to apply to IITs.

- OBC : 389
- SC : 350
- ST : 338
When students first found out that they had to be in the top 20 percentile, it was a scary prospect. They weren’t sure how much they needed to score to qualify for admission. But 391 is quite attainable as it is only around 78 per cent, students said.
